Kozak played 21 games with Buffalo during the 2024-25 regular season, recording three goals and two assists. Fresh off of signing a three-year deal in the offseason, the 22-year-old is no longer exempt from waivers. Still, he could spend most of the 2025-26 season with AHL Rochester, where he had 18 points in 39 games, including playoffs, last campaign.
