2025 Fantasy Outlook
After spending 2024-25 with Los Angeles, Jeannot is moving on to Boston on a five-year, $17 million contract. Last year, the 28-year-old had seven goals and six assists in 67 regular-season games. He has displayed some goal-scoring prowess in the past, erupting for 24 goals in the 2021-22 regular season, but he's combined for just 25 goals across his four other regular seasons. The physical forward has been a lock for over 200 hits per season when he's been healthy, so he can bring fantasy value there, but to expect much from Jeannot offensively is probably a mistake. 2022
The Lightning famously paid a bounty to bring Jeannot in from Nashville in February 2023. He ended up playing a little more than a year with the club, appearing in 75 games and managing a measly eight goals and 18 points. Tampa Bay cut their losses in late June, dealing him to the Kings in a deal involving draft picks. Jeannot is always going to be amongst the league leaders in hits and has massive value in formats that value such numbers, but his 24-goal, 41-point 2021-22 campaign seems like a massive outlier.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Senators may show interest
The Senators could be interested in unrestricted free agent Jeannot, according to Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Jeannot missed the final 12 games of the regular season and all six of the team's playoff outings because of a groin injury, but he should be ready for training camp. He collected seven goals, six assists and 211 hits in 67 regular-season contests with the Kings in 2024-25. Jeannot does not want a fourth-line role, but should the Senators sign him, he can be a feisty winger while taking some of the heat off Brady Tkachuk's tough-guy role.
