Steve Santini

Santini was selected by the Devils with the No. 42 overall pick in the 2013 NHL Draft, but he never managed to establish himself as a regular on an NHL blue line. Instead, Santini has become a veteran minor-league presence who can be called up for brief stints in the event of injury. That’s the role he served with Tampa Bay during the 2024-25 regular season in which he recorded six goals and 17 points in 58 outings with AHL Syracuse, as well as one shot, one hit and two blocks in his lone appearances with Tampa Bay. Still with the Lightning after inking a two-year, two-way contract over the summer, Santini figures to be in the same position this year. Read Past Outlooks
