Carrick was a bright spot for the Rangers in 2024-25, as he posted a career-high 20 points over 80 regular-season appearances. He was firmly in a bottom-six role, frequently as the fourth-line center, though his function occasionally changed as the Rangers tried to keep their season on track. Carrick also had 137 hits, 42 blocked shots, 58 PIM and a plus-4 rating. Realistically, there's not much of a fantasy spin for most fourth liners -- Carrick is fine on the ice and adds a bit of grit, but he's not going to produce enough consistent offense to be on most fantasy rosters. Carrick then provided a secondary helper on Matt Rempe's goal later in the contest. The 33-year-old Carrick has three assists in as many contests after posting a career-high 20 points for the Rangers in 2024-25. He will likely slow down at some point, but if Carrick can maintain a fraction of this pace, his potential for 100-plus hits should give him some play in banger leagues.
