Foote will join a new team in 2025-26 after signing with the Panthers. The 24-year-old has yet to crack 10 NHL games in a season and may struggle to reach that mark with a deep Florida team. He does bring a first-round pedigree to the table -- he was selected with 27th overall pick in 2019 by the Lightning -- but he is likely to start the year in the AHL. The 23-year-old winger faces an uphill battle for more playing time with the Devils, as the team has assembled a fairly steady group of bottom-six forwards.
