2025 Fantasy Outlook
Alexandrov was a point-per-game player for AHL Springfield in 2024-25, earning 21 goals and 28 assists over 48 appearances. He didn't get a call-up to the Blues throughout the season, but the team didn't have many absences at forward and seemed content with the players they had available in bottom-six roles. Alexandrov will get another chance to make an impression in training camp. He has nine points in 51 career outings at the NHL level, so don't expect him to get much more than fourth-line usage with the Blues. Read Past Outlooks
Huge effort in AHL comeback win
Alexandrov scored twice and added an assist in AHL Ontario's 4-3 shootout win over Colorado on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Alexandrov has 18 points in as many games with the Reign since he was traded to the Kings from the Blues back in early December. The forward is up to nine goals and 23 helpers over 36 outings at the AHL level this season. The 25-year-old forward should be in contention for a call-up to the Kings if he keeps up this scoring pace.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Alexandrov averaged 8:32 of ice time in 2023-24, playing 23 games for the Blues, who did not want to place him on waivers and see him land with another NHL team. Alexandrov managed only two assists with the Blues, but did pick up three goals and seven points in seven games with AHL Springfield during a conditioning stint. There is plenty of competition for the final spot up front and Alexandrov could find himself on waivers at the end of training camp if he is unable to impress the coaching staff.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Set for another healthy scratch?
Per Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic, Alexandrov skated as an extra during Tuesday's practice, suggesting he'll sit as a healthy scratch for a fourth straight contest Wednesday versus Colorado.
ANALYSIS
Alexandrov has been limited to just two appearances while often sitting as a healthy scratch this year, going scoreless while averaging only 9:11 of ice time over that span. It will likely take an injury for Alexandrov to see regular playing time for the Blues in 2023-24.
