Alexandrov was a point-per-game player for AHL Springfield in 2024-25, earning 21 goals and 28 assists over 48 appearances. He didn't get a call-up to the Blues throughout the season, but the team didn't have many absences at forward and seemed content with the players they had available in bottom-six roles. Alexandrov will get another chance to make an impression in training camp. Alexandrov averaged 8:32 of ice time in 2023-24, playing 23 games for the Blues, who did not want to place him on waivers and see him land with another NHL team. Alexandrov managed only two assists with the Blues, but did pick up three goals and seven points in seven games with AHL Springfield during a conditioning stint. There is plenty of competition for the final spot up front and Alexandrov could find himself on waivers at the end of training camp if he is unable to impress the coaching staff.
