2025 Fantasy Outlook
Hague's heavier playing style often leads to some absences. In 2024-25, he posted 12 points, 82 hits and 74 blocked shots in 68 regular-season games for Vegas, which represented a slight decline on the physical side of the game. He has reached 17 points twice in six seasons, so there's not much room for growth here. He will probably fill a bottom-four role in the 2025-26 campaign after being moved to Nashville in the offseason. Read Past Outlooks
Won't play Tuesday
Hague (illness) won't be in the lineup against Edmonton on Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Hague is day-to-day and will miss at least one game, but he has some additional time to recover ahead of Friday's matchup against Colorado. He has earned two goals, nine assists, 26 shots on net, 33 blocked shots and 51 hits through 37 outings this campaign. Justin Barron will replace Hague in Tuesday's lineup.

Five years into his NHL career, Hague has settled into a depth role on the Vegas blueline. He's typically good for a handful of goals and roughly 15 points each season, shockingly low numbers for a guy who posted 35 goals and 78 points in his final OHL campaign. Still just 25 years of age, Hague did have a career-best 154 hits last season, but even that number isn't high enough to make him a player to target in formats that value such a statistic. Look elsewhere on draft day.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Closing in on return
Hague, who has been sidelined due to an upper-body injury, has been skating recently and appears to be closing in on a return, Alex Daugherty of The Tennessean reports Monday.
ANALYSIS
Hague suffered his injury during the Predators' preseason opener, and he initially carried a return timetable of 4-6 weeks. He's passed the early end of that estimate but appears to be making progress in his recovery, and it seems as though he'll be in the mix to return for Tuesday's game against the Ducks, Thursday's game against Vancouver or during the Predators' back-to-back set over the weekend.
