2023 Fantasy Outlook
Montreal's pletheora of injuries in 2022-23 allowed Pezzetta to rack up 15 points in 63 contests, numbers similar to his 11 points in 51 outings a year before. He's been just a fourth-line player over those two campaigns, and it's tough to expect a massive breakout at age 25 given his lack of a prominent role. If the Canadiens can stay relatively healthy as a team, Pezzetta may not even have a place in the lineup on a nightly basis. He will provide plenty of physicality after racking up 239 hits last season, and a two-year contract gives him some job security, but he's not an option for fantasy managers.
