2025 Fantasy Outlook
Sasson will compete for a depth role with the Canucks in 2025-26 after he came to terms on a one-year, $775,000 contract with the team in June. The Western Michigan University product provided three goals, four helpers, 31 shots on goal and a plus-1 rating while averaging 10:20 of ice time over 29 appearances last season. Sasson also had 13 markers and 32 points over 41 regular-season appearances with AHL Abbotsford. While the left-shot forward has proven capable of contributing offense in the minors, he’s unlikely to see anything more than bottom-six minutes with the big club this campaign. Fantasy managers should be able to find better options to fill out their roster. Read Past Outlooks
Bulges twine in loss
Sasson scored a goal on five shots in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres.
ANALYSIS
The Canucks' ongoing injury woes have allowed Sasson to maintain a bottom-six spot in the lineup. He snapped a six-game point drought with the goal, though he's been effective in small bursts at times this year. He's now at six goals, eight points, 30 shots on net, 16 hits, 20 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 28 appearances. That production is right in line with what he did as a rookie in 2024-25, but it's not really enough to help in most fantasy formats.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Getting look as center
Sasson has been used as a center to begin training camp, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports Friday.
ANALYSIS
Sasson told reporters he'd be happy to play anywhere if it helps his cause to make the NHL, but the obvious fit would be down the middle, where the Canucks are thinnest to begin 2025-26. The 25-year-old is back with Vancouver on a one-year deal after posting seven points across his first 29 NHL games last season. Even if he makes the roster, he'll likely be limited to the fourth line, but the early impression in camp has been positive.
