2025 Fantasy Outlook
Poitras was unable to grow his offense in 2024-25, ending the campaign with 11 points in 33 games, just one year after a 15-point rookie season across the same number of contests. The center's decline could be a little bit of a sophomore slump, but the Bruins' substandard season likely played a big part in it as well. The good news is that Poitras should have plenty of opportunities to really establish himself as a middle-six forward in 2025-26. The 21-year-old had 41 points in 40 regular-season games with AHL Providence last year, so the scoring potential is there. Look for him to get over the 30-point mark if he can spend the full season in the NHL. Read Past Outlooks
One of each Saturday
Poitras scored a goal and added an assist in AHL Providence's 6-3 win over Belleville on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
This was Poitras' first multi-point effort since the second game of the AHL campaign. He entered Saturday with just one helper over his last six outings. Overall, Poitras has two goals and 10 points in 18 appearances, which isn't the kind of production that will help him get a call-up to Boston at this point in the year.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Poitras cracked the Boston lineup as a 19-year-old rookie last season and was impressive (five goals, 15 points in 33 games) before a shoulder injury which required surgery ended his year in late January. Poitras took part in the Bruins' development camp in early July in a regular sweater, so he shouldn't have any restrictions once training camp begins. He's still a better fantasy option in dynasty and keeper leagues as opposed to redraft formats, but Poitras is worth a look in the final rounds of all drafts given his youth and long-term potential on what projects to be one of the league's better teams.
