Concussion
March 1, 2025
Bichsel (concussion) isn't likely to play Sunday against St. Louis, though he's considered probable for Tuesday's matchup with the Devils, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports.
ANALYSIS
It appears that Bichsel will miss a third straight game since suffering a concussion last week against the Islanders, though the 20-year-old defenseman has been skating in practice and appears poised to return early next week. Bichsel has two goals and five points in 18 games with Dallas this season.

May stick in NHL
DDallas Stars
February 18, 2025
Bichsel, who was recalled from AHL Texas on Tuesday, could be a permanent fixture on the Stars' roster the rest of the way, per Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine.
ANALYSIS
Dallas is dealing with significant injuries on the blue line to Miro Hesikanen, Nils Lundkvist and Ilya Lyubushkin, who are all out with knee, shoulder and an undisclosed injury, respectively. As such, the 20-year-old Bichsel likely won't have to shuffle back and forth between levels anymore. In his 16 games this year, the Swiss international has notched two goals, three assists and 64 hits while averaging 15:21 of ice time. Bichsel may still have to serve as a healthy scratch periodically once Lyubushkin or Heiskanen returns but should still get plenty of minutes with Dallas the rest of the way.
