Taken with the No. 87 overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, Sourdif has managed a goal across four career regular-season NHL games, but the 23-year-old has spent most of his time developing in the minors. He had 16 goals, 34 points and 58 PIM in 43 regular-season outings with AHL Charlotte in 2024-25 before adding four goals and 10 points in 18 playoff outings. Sourdif’s work ethic and two-way game might be enough to earn him a bottom-six spot on Washington’s Opening Night roster, but he’s far from a lock for that role. For the season, Sourdif has 11 goals, 24 points, 68 shots on net, 59 hits, 19 PIM and a plus-14 rating over 49 appearances. He isn't currently a major factor on the power play, but the rest of his production can give most virtual rosters a boost.
