Barron accounted for six goals, 13 points, 73 shots, 83 blocks and 80 hits across 62 regular-season appearances between Nashville and Montreal in 2024-25. His average ice time increased from 14:43 to 18:27 after being acquired by the Predators from the Canadiens in mid-December. However, Nashville's blue line had injury issues throughout the year. There will be tough competition on the Canadiens' blue line, with Arber Xhekaj and Jayden Struble all looking for additional ice time. While Barron may have limited fantasy value this season due to his lack of a clear role, his age makes him an intriguing long-term option in dynasty and keeper formats.
