2025 Fantasy Outlook
When teams draft a forward in the first round, you’d usually assume it’s someone with top-six potential, but that was never necessarily the case for Beecher. Taken by Boston with the No. 30 overall pick in 2019, Beecher is more of a defensive option, and the Bruins have used him primarily in a bottom-six capacity since he made his NHL debut during the 2023-24 campaign. He finished last season with three goals, 11 points, 26 PIM, 44 shots, 85 hits and 71 blocks across 78 outings. Beecher shouldn’t be expected to do meaningfully better this campaign, so if you aren’t in a deep enough fantasy league to find appeal in his 2024-25 numbers, then you’ll probably want to pass on him. First helper with new team
Beecher logged a shorthanded assist in Wednesday's 5-1 loss to the Lightning.
ANALYSIS
Beecher has played in four straight games for the Flames since he was claimed off waivers from the Bruins on Nov. 18. The 24-year-old has settled into a fourth-line role, which could make it tough for him to rack up points, especially on a low-scoring team. Through 10 outings overall this season, he has two points, 11 shots on net, 10 hits, seven blocked shots and a minus-1 rating.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2019
A first-round pick (No. 30 overall) of the Bruins in 2019, Beecher made his NHL debut last season and was a regular for the club from mid-March on. He appeared in 52 regular-season games, posting seven goals and 10 points. Beecher also suited up for 11 of 12 postseason contests for Boston. Blessed with blazing speed, Beecher has transitioned nicely to a bottom-six role. He's slated to serve as the fourth-line center for the B's in 2024-25, although he doesn't project to have any fantasy value in the process.

Beecher accounted for three goals, 11 points, 26 PIM, 71 blocked shots, 85 hits and a minus-9 rating over 78 appearances last season. If he remains with the Bruins, he's more than likely to continue to fill a fourth-line role in 2025-26.
