2025 Fantasy Outlook
Roslovic surprisingly went unsigned for the whole offseason, but he ended up in a good landing spot in the end, signing a one-year contract with the Oilers in October. The 28-year-old could have a slow start to 2025-26 due to missing training camp, but he could ultimately contend for top-six minutes with his new teams, and the short length of his contract will keep him motivated in hopes of a shorter free-agency period in the summer. He peaks as a 20-goal, 45-point candidate, but there's still value in that for fantasy managers looking for a scoring boost in deeper formats. Read Past Outlooks

Links up with Edmonton
Roslovic signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Oilers on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Roslovic wanted multiple years and likely could have commanded a larger salary after his 22-goal, 39-point regular season with the Hurricanes in 2024-25. The 28-year-old will instead take a discount to play for a contender. If Roslovic is ultimately able to earn a top-six role and power-play time, he could be a quality addition for fantasy managers once he gets up to speed with his new team. It's unclear how long that process will take, so it's not yet known when Roslovic will make his Edmonton debut.

A short stint In New York saw Roslovic suit up in 35 games, including the postseason, for the Blueshirts. It seems the 27-year-old winger didn't show the club enough to warrant bringing him back, as he signed a one-year deal to join the Hurricanes this season. Perhaps it was Roslovic's 12-game goal drought, all in the playoffs, that convinced the Rangers to look elsewhere for forward depth. While the Columbus native has seen minutes in a top-line role at certain points during his career, he will be hard-pressed to unseat Seth Jarvis or Martin Necas for that kind of spot in the lineup this season. As such, fantasy managers may not want to expect too much out of Roslovic heading into the 2024-25 campaign.

Latest Fantasy Rumors

Oilers circling back?
Roslovic has drawn renewed interest from the Oilers, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Roslovic reportedly turned down an offer from Edmonton during the offseason, but he remains without a home after Opening Night. The Oilers could likely afford to give a deal in the $3-4 million cap hit range, but Roslovic is also reportedly looking for a multi-year contract. The 28-year-old will likely need some time to get up to speed with any team he might sign with, but if he does so early in the season, he should still be a threat for roughly 20 goals and 35-40 points.
