Yurov was released from his KHL deal back in April, so fans have been anxiously awaiting his arrival in North America. In his 46 regular-season appearances for Metallurg Magnitogorsk, the 21-year-old winger registered 13 goals and 12 assists while adding one point in five postseason clashes. Selected by the Wild with the 24th pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, Yurov should be in contention for a spot on the Opening Night roster with Minnesota, though he is far from a lock to make the team and could wind up in the minors at some point.
