2025 Fantasy Outlook
The Wild have long-awaited the time that their first-round selection in 2022 would come over from the KHL, and Yurov is finally set to join the Wild for the 2025-26 season. The 21-year-old is coming off a down season, scoring 13 goals with 12 assists in 46 games with KHL Metallurg, but that's only a down season due to the high bar he set in 2023-24 -- 49 points on 21 goals and 28 assists in 62 games -- the most points scored by a KHL player under-21 in league history. Because there's a spot in the lineup and likely on the second power-play unit to be had for Yurov right away, a 30-40 point campaign isn't a crazy expectation to set, as long as he adjusts well to North America and stays healthy. The 21-year-old hasn't been given much of a chance to make an impact from the Wild's fourth line, and it'll be tougher for him to move up now that the team is missing only Nico Sturm (back) among its usual forwards.
