2025 Fantasy Outlook
In his first season with the Capitals, Duhaime averaged a career-high 13:21 of ice time per game, and a career year followed. The 28-year-old had 21 points (nine goals, 12 assists) while also blocking 65 shots and throwing 165 hits. As a mostly fourth-line player, there aren’t too many situations better for him than the Capitals, who showed more willingness to roll all four lines than almost any team in the league. Duhaime can get you hits, blocks and penalty minutes, but the hard-nosed winger’s offensive ceiling doesn’t feel too much higher than what he delivered this past season. Read Past Outlooks
Stuck in cold spell
Duhaime's point drought reached 21 games in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
Duhaime has gotten on the scoresheet just once in the last 32 contests, which was his one-goal, one-assist effort versus the Sharks on Dec. 3. The winger is a fourth-line glue guy, but he offers virtually no scoring upside. For the season, Duhaime has four goals, two assists, 34 shots on net, 51 PIM, 102 hits and 32 blocked shots over 49 appearances.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
2022
Duhaime had five goals, 13 points, 70 PIM and 208 hits in 80 regular-season contests between Minnesota and Colorado. The 27-year-old played primarily on the fourth line, and the Capitals are expected to utilize him in the same way after inking him to a two-year, $3.7 million contract. If you're in a league that values PIM and hits, then Duhaime should continue to provide good value in those categories going forward. However, he hasn't been a significant offensive threat in the past and shouldn't be expected to make strides in scoring.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Return to Minnesota unlikely
Duhaime is unlikely to make a return to Minnesota during free agency, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Duhaime spent three seasons in Minnesota before being traded to Colorado at the deadline this past year. During his time with the Wild, the winger saw action in 193 games in which he tallied 19 goals, 16 assists and 239 shots while averaging just 10:31 of ice time. Even with the cap increasing, Duhaime will likely be priced out of making a return to Minnesota.
