Bradly Nadeau

20-Year-Old Left WingLW
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Nadeau got into two regular-season games with Carolina late last season, logging an assist and eight shots on goal while averaging 11:29 of ice time. The 20-year-old winger was highly productive with AHL Chicago, compiling 32 goals and 58 points over 64 regular-season contests, but he posted a minus-20 rating, which raises red flags for his two-way game. The 2023 first-round selection will simply be organizational depth again in 2025-26, as the Hurricanes have a talented and experienced forward group, but Nadeau will have plenty of opportunities to prove his worth down the line. Nadeau scored a goal on three shots and added an assist in AHL Chicago's 4-1 win over Iowa on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Nadeau is among the best prospects not playing in the NHL currently. The Hurricanes weren't able to make room for him out of training camp, but he's knocking on the door of a call-up. He torched the AHL for 32 goals and 58 points in 64 regular-season appearances last year and added an assist in two games at the NHL level. Keep an eye on Nadeau's production -- it might take only one injury in Carolina for the 20-year-old to get his chance.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Nadeau was a standout forward with the University of Maine in 2023-24, providing 19 goals and 46 points in 37 contests as a freshman. After that showing, the Hurricanes, who selected him with the No. 30 overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, signed him to an entry-level contract and had him make his NHL debut April 16. It didn't go great -- he had no points, a minus-3 rating and three shots in 19:08 of ice time -- but it did give him a taste of what's to come that he could use as motivation while doing his summer training. Nadeau will get a long look during training camp, and while it wouldn't be surprising to see him start the campaign in the AHL to get more seasoning, the 19-year-old has considerable offensive upside and is worth keeping in the back of your mind.

Won't be blocked by veterans
LWCarolina Hurricanes  Minors
September 19, 2025
Nadeau will need to earn a roster spot with the Hurricanes this season, Cory Lavalette of The North State Journal reports Friday.
ANALYSIS
Head coach Rod Brind'Amour indicated that Nadeau won't be blocked if he plays his way into an NHL job, saying that it was the team's job to find room for him. That being said, it looks like he may have to start 2025-26 with AHL Chicago despite dominating that league with 32 goals in 64 regular-season games as a 19-year-old last year. The Hurricanes' wing depth is strong, and Nadeau would need at least a middle-six role to be successful as a talented scorer.
