2023 Fantasy Outlook
Toropchenko emerged as a solid bottom-six winger with a physical edge in 2022-23, racking up 19 points, 122 hits and 86 shots on goal over 69 games with the Blues. The 24-year-old winger was then rewarded with a two-year contract in the offseason, making him a virtual lock for the Opening Night roster. Without a power-play role, it'll be tough for Toropchenko to make another meaningful jump in offense -- he'll likely peak in the 25-30 point range, and it wouldn't be surprising if he came short of that mark. His fantasy appeal is limited by his fourth-line role, though he could earn some interest if he can keep racking up hits.
