Steeves has proved his mettle in his first full year at the NHL level, which has led to finding an everyday role with the Bruins since being called up from the minors in mid-November. He's flashed the ability to heat up offensively while posting eight goals, 14 points, 44 shots on net, 117 hits and 22 blocked shots across 33 games this season. He should continue to supply decent category coverage from a bottom-six role moving forward.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Considering Steeves has logged just seven career NHL games over the last three seasons, fantasy players probably shouldn't be expecting him to suddenly secure a full-time NHL gig -- especially having signed a one-year, two-way contract in the offseason. Undrafted out of the University of Notre Dame, the 24-year-old center has put up impressive numbers in the minors, including racking up 27 goals and 30 assists in 65 regular-season games with the Marlies last year. In dynasty formats, the Minnesota native might be worth stashing but should probably be passed over in re-draft formats. Still, if he does earn an extended call-up due to injuries this year, Steeves might be a player to keep an eye on.
