ANALYSIS
The defenseman is expected to be completely healthy ahead of training camp in September after undergoing surgery in April. Mukhamadullin had two goals, seven assists and 51 blocked shots in 30 regular-season games. The 26th overall pick in the 2020 Draft by New Jersey, Mukhamadullin is expected to take on a bigger role for the Sharks next season.

Mukhamadullin made his NHL debut for the Sharks last year, logging three games for the club in which he averaged 21:09 of ice time and notched one assist, five shots and five hits. The 22-year-old is far from a lock to make the roster Opening Night. Still, fantasy managers could be eager to sneak the 22-year-old Russian into their rosters on draft day after he compiled seven goals and 27 assists in 55 minor-league games with the Barracuda last year. How the team plans to manage Mukhamadullin will likely be determined during training camp - if the coaching staff isn't going to play him, he will likely be better suited to spend his time in the minors.
