Can't avoid relegation from LIV
Jang carded a seven-under 64 in the final round at LIV Golf Indianapolis to finish tied for 27th and ended the regular season 53rd in the individual standings with 1.28 points.

Jang needed at least a top-12 performance to have any hopes of crawling out of the Drop Zone. Unfortunately for the Korean, he went three-under over the first two rounds, and his surge on the final day was not enough for him to earn points in Indianapolis. Jang signed with Iron Heads GC in January, but he earned points in only one LIV Golf tournament in his debut season. He could earn his way back to the league for 2026 by winning the LIV Golf Promotional Event or by stringing together strong performances on the Asian Tour over the coming months. Jang will be with the 13th-seeded Iron Heads at the LIV Golf Team Championship in Michigan this weekend alongside Danny Lee, Jinichiro Kozuma and captain Kevin Na.
