Chandler is the reason the PGA Tour decided to bring Q-School back. The 27-year-old had only 19 career TOUR-sanctioned starts to his credit, but he used a back-nine 30 on Sunday to vault up the leaderboard and earn a PGA Tour card for 2025. Chandler didn't get many Korn Ferry Tour starts in 2024, but one of them was a T2 finish at the Magnit Championship. Chandler posted a five-under 66 in the final round of the WM Phoenix Open to finish in a share of seventh place.
ANALYSIS
Despite gaining his card through Qualifying School at the end of 2024, Chandler needed to Monday qualify to get into the tournament and took full advantage with four rounds of 68 or better for his first career PGA Tour top-10 finish. He was led by his short game, where he gained a whopping 13.2 strokes around the green and putting combined for the week.
