Rico Hoey

After finishing the regular season outside of the top 100 in the FedExCup, Hoey switch to a long putter to start the fall and the results followed with six top-25s including four top-10s across seven starts. His ball-striking numbers jump off the page as Scottie Scheffler was the only other golfer to rank in the top 10 in SG: Off-the-Tee and approach in 2025. A bit of a late bloomer having spent five years at the lower level before graduating to the PGA Tour, Hoey looks to be a pretty obvious breakout candidate that still needs to prove that the putting woes are behind him and that he can compete against elite talent.
