2025 Fantasy Outlook
After seemingly refinding his form to pick up his first win in over four years in 2023, Fowler was unable to maintain anywhere near the same level in 2024 with just one top-10 and five top-25s, three of which came against weaker competition in the fall. His ball striking was the main reason he took a stepbackwards as he lost over 10 yards off the tee compared to the year prior and went from seventh in SG: Approach all the way down to 122nd. The bright side is that his best result of the year came in his most recent start at the ZOZO Championship in October. The ceiling is higher than a lot of players but it's difficult to know which version of Fowler we will see in 2025. Read Past Outlooks
Ninth in SG: OTT at 3M Open
Fowler closed with a three-under 68 on Sunday at the 3M Open to finish 13-under and tied for 28th.
ANALYSIS
Fowler finished his week in Minnesota ranked top-10 among the 3M Open field in SG: Off-the-Tee, driving accuracy and scrambling, though he fell to T65 in putts per GIR. Nonetheless, it's Fowler's third consecutive top-30 result dating back to the John Deere Classic, allowing him to rise up to 61st in the FedExCup standings. He'll be in attendance again this week for the Wyndham Championship.

Fowler had a career resurgence in 2022-23 after a couple of down seasons. He made 24-of-26 cuts and racked up 18 top-25 finishes. That was all highlighted by a victory at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. The numbers didn't lie either as Fowler was 11th in SG: Total and 11th in scoring average. It was one of the best iron play years of Fowler's career at seventh in SG: Approach and he was also inside the top 50 in SG: Putting. Fowler is a hard player to project going into 2024 because he has a profile of a very consistent golfer now, but that traditionally has not been a strength of his even when he was at his best. He likely won't reach his earnings from 2022-23, but there's still a good chance he makes it to East Lake.
