Neergaard-Petersen fired a nine-under 63 to surge up to solo second place at the Puerto Rico Open.

ANALYSIS
Neergaard-Petersen was out in front going into the weekend after rounds of 64-65. The pressure of winning a PGA Tour event seemed to really get to him on Saturday, however, when he faded with a one-over 73. To his credit, Neergaard-Petersen was able to put that behind him and fired the low round of the day to take back second place. The 25-year-old Dane is not a PGA Tour member, but was able to get a spot because of some great play on the DP World Tour that included a runner-up last time out at the Qatar Masters. It's unclear when we might see him again on the PGA Tour, but clearly Neergaard-Petersen has some game.
