2026 Fantasy Outlook
A T4 in the season-ending RSM Classic moved Hodges up to 101st on the points list, leaving him one spot away from having full status in 2026. It was his only top-35 finish across his last 10 starts of the year and a disappointing finish after he posted a T11 or better in three of his first six starts to begin the year. The four-year Tour member has lost some distance over the last couple of years but ranked 23rd in SG: Approach and gained shots around the green and putting. He figures to be one of the best players on the Korn Ferry Tour when he doesn't get into PGA Tour events. Read Past Outlooks
Strong final round at Sony Open
Hodges carded a bogey-free, five-under 65 during the final round at the Sony Open to finish tied for sixth.
ANALYSIS
Hodges opened the final round with back-to-back birdies, and his birdies on the ninth, 11th and 18th holes (without dropping a shot) were enough for him to crack into the top-10 on the leaderboard. He led the field in scrambling (83.33 percent on 18 opportunities) and finished second in SG: Putting (7.76), though he finished in the bottom half of the field in driving accuracy, driving distance and SG: Approach to Green. It was Hodges' fifth top-10 finish at a PGA Tour event since the start of the 2025 season, and he is 124th on the OWGR rankings heading into The American Express starting Thursday.

2020
Hodges did just enough during his rookie season of 2022 to secure his card for the following season, but in his second season, he left nothing to chance by winning the 3M Open in July. In total, he captured 10 top-25s and three top-10s on his way to over $3 million in earnings. It was a perfect springboard to season three, except he failed to get much lift in his third season. Though he played better than in his rookie season, Hodges failed to crack the top-70 and made less than $2.5 million this past season. Perhaps it was a hangover from his win the previous season and a lack of urgency, but whatever the case, this season will go a long way to determining what kind of golfer Hodges will be moving forward. Hodges may have punched above his weight in his second season and as such, he'll likely come in closer to his 2024 numbers this season than his 2023 numbers.
