2026 Fantasy Outlook
Wu wasn't a consistent player in his first two years on Tour, but was able to keep status due to the ability to have some hot putting weeks and finish top-10. Wu only found the top-10 once in 2024 and that was a T10 at an opposite-field event. The Stanford product was outside the top-100 in every strokes gained category except SG: Around-the-Green. There's a lot that needs to change if Wu is going to find some better results, and playing off conditional status in 2025 is going to make that even harder. Read Past Outlooks

Wu only found the top-10 once in 2024 and that was a T10 at an opposite-field event. The Stanford product was outside the top-100 in every strokes gained category except SG: Around-the-Green. Wu nearly doubled his earnings from his rookie season this past year, which used to me a lot more pre-elevated events, but still, any improvement in year two is a good thing. Wu recorded a runner-up at Pebble Beach in February and backed that up with a top-20 at the PLAYERS in March. He picked up two more top-10s the rest of the way and safely landed inside the top-70 at year's end. Wu should continue to improve in year-three, but a significant improvement doesn't seem likely. As such, he's not a great salary cap play this year, but should be given some consideration.
Wu went through some growing pains in his rookie season, missing 10 of his first 11 cuts before the 25-year-old righted the ship with a pair of top three finishes over his next four starts. He didn't stand out in any particular category but did show good accuracy off-the-tee and reasonable iron play. He should be able to build on the latter part of the season for a solid 2022-23 campaign.
It's now been just about a calendar year since Wu won the 2020 Korn Ferry Tour Championship, which came two weeks after his T2 at the Albertsons Boise Open. Wu also added his maiden top-10 on the PGA Tour at the 2021 Puerto Rico Open where he played his first 36 holes in 11-under par. Among his peers on the KFT, the Stanford product ranked sixth in GIR percentage and seventh in ball striking.
A final-round 65 at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship allowed Wu to surge to a one-shot victory and climb to a career-best 202nd in the Official World Golf Ranking, while also securing a spot inside the top 10 of the KFT's points list. The win at Victoria National Golf Club came just two weeks after he tied for second at the Albertsons Boise Open, marking his third top-10 in just six starts on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2020. Among Wu's five appearances at the PGA Tour level during the 2019-20 campaign, he posted a T17 at the Houston Open and missed just one cut at the Workday Charity Open.
