Potgieter recorded a six-over 78 in the final round of the Farmers Insurance Open to finish tied for 15th place.
ANALYSIS
Potgieter was playing in the closing threesome as he started the day just two back of the lead, but he had a final round to forget with only two birdies to go along with six bogeys and a double bogey to fall outside the top-10. He led the field for the week in driving distance and SG: Off-the-tee but ranked in the bottom 10 in approach and around the green. Nevertheless, it's a positive sign for the long-hitting rookie, who had missed his first two cuts to start the year.
