Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Taken 24th overall in the 2022 Draft, Smith has settled in at left guard for the Cowboys after bouncing between guard and tackle as a rookie. Smith will team with 2024 first-round pick Tyler Guyton to form a very young, but impressively talented, left side of the Dallas offensive line.
The 24th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Smith was expected to begin his career at left guard, but the Tulsa product would up seeing plenty of action at left tackle as Tyron Smith once again battled injuries. The duo will once again protect Dak Prescott's left side, with the younger Smith handling the guard spot as long as Tyron stays healthy.

Viewed as new cornerstone in Dallas
OGDallas Cowboys
March 25, 2025
The Cowboys could prioritize re-signing Smith this offseason, Todd Archer of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Micah Parsons is the most obvious extension candidate in Dallas this offseason, but other key players are also eligible for long-term deals. Smith is under contract through the 2026 season and has emerged as a Pro Bowl-caliber guard. The Cowboys saw Zack Martin retire earlier in the offseason, but Smith could provide the offensive line with a new foundation if he's locked up with an extension.
