For now, McKitty slots in behind Dalton Kincaid, Dawson Knox and Quintin Morris, but if injuries hit the top trio, the 6-4, 246-pounder could carve out a depth role after not drawing any regular-season targets in 2023. McKitty is expected to compete with Donald Parham for the Chargers' No. 2 TE role behind Gerald Everett, but either way McKitty figures to make most of his impact this coming season as a blocker, which limits his fantasy upside.
