The Chiefs selected Hicks in the fourth round of April's NFL Draft, and he was considered by many to be a steal at that slot as one of the better safeties in the class. The 22-year-old is slated to begin the 2024 campaign in a depth role behind starting safeties Justin Reid and Bryan Cook.
