Looking to add competition for second-year kicker Anders Carlson, Green Bay scooped up Joseph in the offseason. Carlson had a shaky rookie season, but Joseph was not particularly accurate the last two years himself. The Packers ended up cutting both players and signing rookie Brayden Narveson instead. Kicks five FGs in loss to Dallas
Joseph converted all five of his field-goal attempts in Thursday night's 20-15 loss to the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
Kicking in place of an injured Graham Gano (hamstring) for the second straight week, Joseph was the only means of scoring for the Giants in Thursday night's defeat. Joseph displayed his leg strength with a 61-yard field goal last season, but his second year in Minnesota otherwise was far less effective than his first. His FG rate dropped from 86.8 percent to 78.8, and he missed six PATs after whiffing on four the year before. Joseph is on the low end of fantasy options, benefiting from an above-average Minnesota offense as well as playing his home games indoors.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Ahead in GB's kicker competition
Joseph has pulled ahead of Anders Carlson in Green Bay's kicking competition, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Joseph made all seven of his field-goal attempts in Thursday's practice and has missed only twice on 31 attempts in portions of training camp open to reporters, while Carlson has six misses on the same number of attempts. Carlson appears to be plagued by the same accuracy issues that persisted throughout his rookie season, when Carlson missed six field-goal attempts and five PATs in the regular season, plus a field goal and a PAT in the playoffs. Joseph has made 100 of 121 career regular-season field-goal attempts and would be poised for a busy season behind an up-and-coming Packers offense if he beats out Carlson for the kicking job in Green Bay.
