2024 Fantasy Outlook
Dicker spent time with four organizations as an undrafted rookie in 2022, eventually becoming the starting placekicker for the Chargers. He hasn't let go of the role since, converting 52 of 55 field-goal attempts (94.5 percent) and each of his 59 PATs. Dicker has yet to miss a kick inside of 50 yards, and has gone 7 of 10 from 50-plus, which allowed him to tie for eighth at the position in fantasy points last year despite ranking 13th in FG attempts and t-14th in PATs. He could become one of the better fantasy kickers if the Chargers are revived under new coach Jim Harbaugh, and at the very least it would seem Dicker has excellent job security in light of his remarkable consistency through a season and a half. RW's Jerry Donabedian has high hopes for key players from the Giants-Commanders game, figuring that poor defensive play combined with large workloads will lead to strong fantasy scores.
2023 Fantasy Outlook
Dicker went undrafted last spring after four years as the top placekicker at Texas, bouncing around from the Rams to the Ravens to the Eagles before finally landing with the Chargers and thriving beyond any reasonable expectation. He missed only one field-goal attempt and nary a PAT in 11 games, replacing Dustin Hopkins after the veteran suffered a season-ending hamstring injury. The Chargers then traded Hopkins this August, confirming that Dicker will enter Week 1 as their kicker.

Nabs lucrative extension
Dicker signed a four-year, $22 million contract extension with the Chargers on Friday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The deal includes $12.5 million guaranteed according to Rhim's ESPN colleague Adam Schefter. It's a well-earned payday for the fourth-year kicker, who knocked home 31 of 33 field-goal attempts, including seven of nine from 50-plus yards, and all 35 extra-point tries in 2023 across 17 regular-season games. Dicker initially played 10 regular-season games with the Chargers in 2022 and then beat out veteran Dustin Hopkins for the placekicking job during the 2023 preseason.
