2025 Fantasy Outlook
Borregales was the first of two kickers taken in the 2025 Draft, going in the sixth round at No. 182 overall to New England. He was a four-year starter at the University of Miami, where he converted 86.5 percent of field-goal attempts and 99.5 percent of PATs, missing just 13 kicks overall and only one in his final season. Borregales is the favorite to become the Patriots' new placekicker but will first need to win a summer job battle against veteran addition John Parker Romo. Read Past Outlooks
Drills game winner in Buffalo
Borregales went 3-for-3 on field-goal tries, including a 52-yard game winner in the final minute, and 2-for-2 on extra-point attempts in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Bills.
ANALYSIS
The kicker hit the decisive field goal right down the middle with more than enough distance to spare. He also made a 30-yarder and a 19-yarder in the first half, both of which proved decisive as well. The sixth-round draft pick missed a field goal in Week 1 and two extra points in Week 2, but he has been perfect since.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Job may be in jeopardy
Borregales could be on the hot seat as New England's kicker, Mike Reiss of ESPN suggests.
ANALYSIS
Borregales won the job over Parker Romo during the preseason but has been shaky to begin the regular season. He missed two PATs in Week 2 and also missed a field-goal attempt in Week 1. While his inaccuracy didn't affect the outcome of either game, Borregales will likely need to improve to hold onto the job for the rest of the season.
