Dee Winters Injury: Doesn't practice Wednesday

Winters (knee) did not participate at practice Wednesday, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Winters was forced out of Sunday's game at Houston in the third quarter after injuring his knee, and now his status for Week 9 is in doubt. He'll probably have to get back to practice Thursday or Friday to have any chance to play Sunday against the Giants.
