"Devy" is short for "developmental." A fantasy football devy league is a form of dynasty league where you draft college football players and hold onto them until they are in the NFL. Once they join an NFL roster they become available to play on your fantasy team.
Devy leagues offer an additional challenge, as you'll be drafting incoming college freshmen and other non-rostered college players to your roster each year.
