Zuna was much better in a 3-0 victory over Even in Death during the 2017 HGC Group Stage Phase 2.
ANALYSIS
Zuna opted for the E.T.C. Uther wombo-combo strategy in Game 1 on Tomb of the Spider Queen, which was honestly a brilliant idea due to Even in Death drafting four melee heroes and very few Mosh Pit interrupts. This combo alone completely dismantled Even in Death's plans, as they had very little in terms of interruptions for that deadly Mosh Pit. Additionally, the mass of melee heroes gave the ranged assassins on Zuna's team easy access to relatively safe damage, which only served to drain the mana of the sole support hero on Even in Deaths team. Game 2 saw Zuna on Arthas. This heavy zone and control hero was perfect for the map he was playing, Infernal Shrines. Zuna went deep with his Malthael and Uther partners and was unstoppable as he mowed down his opponents and scored easy kills on the squishy enemy Lili. Zuna has been playing hit or miss over the last few months, but in this series he was absolutely on top of his game.
