After being humiliated in the Test series, England have a chance to seek revenge in a format they have been acing since the last World Cup. West Indies have recalled the likes of Chris Gayle, Carlos Brathwaite and Darren Bravo to boost their ODI outfit but it fades in comparison to England's, at least on paper.
England are shaping their World Cup squad and have all but settled on their 15 while Windies are still identifying their best team for the marquee event for which they barely qualified. The two sides are poles apart in terms of recent performance but at home at least, expect the hosts put in a tough performance.
Player Recommendations:
Wicket-keeper: Jos Buttler (9.5 credits)
A game-changer of the highest order, Buttler is a menacing batsman when in the mood. With the kind of surfaces in the island, expect Buttler to come in earlier to the wicket, which makes this a chance for him to make an impact. He is a must-have in your fantasy team and a potential alternate captaincy option.
Batsman: Joe Root (10 credits)
After a hundred in the final Test, Root has found his confidence back and would hope to carry it into the ODIs where he has struggled to convert those 50s and 60s to big hundreds. At No. 3, Root will play a pivotal role in England's middle-order, but he has some handy spinners and a quality all-rounder to contend.
All-rounder: Ben Stokes (9.5 credits)
Stokes will be an invaluable

All-rounder: Ben Stokes (9.5 credits)
Stokes will be an invaluable player in these conditions given his back of a length deliveries and reverse swing could be handy on the surfaces in the Caribbean Islands. He bats behind a strong top-order but West Indies have enough quality to expose the top and Stokes could play a vital role with bat and ball.
Bowler: Kemar Roach (8.5 credits)
Roach finished the Test series with 18 wickets and was promptly called back to the ODI setup ahead of the World Cup. With searing, skiddy pace, dangerous late movement and disconcerting bounce, Roach was a huge factor behind West Indies' win in the Test series. He won't be partnered by Shannon Gabriel, who is serving a ban, but expect Roach to ruffle a few feathers in the English camp.
Captain: Ben Stokes
Vice-captain: Johnny Bairstow
