Enters 2022 NFL Draft
White announced Friday that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Georgia to enter the 2022 NFL Draft, Matt Zenitz of On3.com reports.
ANALYSIS
White never got a chance to be a true workhorse as part of a Georgia backfield that featured a stable of talented backs, but he produced 856 yards on the ground and 11 scores for the nation champions in 2021. He sits in the prototypical range for a running back at six-foot, 215 pounds, and he has a solid combination of speed and power with the ability to break arm tackles. The departures of White and James Cook for the NFL still leave the Bulldogs with three other backs who topped 200 yards this past season (Kendall Milton, Kenny McIntosh and Daijun Edwards).

2020 Fantasy Outlook
White emerges as the latest featured back for a Georgia offense that has churned out elite runners over the last 5-7 years. With D’Andre Swift and Brian Herrien moving on to the NFL and taking almost 300 carries with them from last season, White has the chance to absolutely explode in 2020. The Bulldogs caught a glimpse of the future in the 26-14 win over Baylor in the Sugar Bowl, as White rushed 18 times for 92 yards and a touchdown shouldering the bulk of the load. Though James Cook will see some touches, White should maintain the majority of touches out of the backfield. White averaged 5.2 yards per tote on 78 carries as a freshman, and appears poised for a monstrous campaign.
