2025 Fantasy Outlook
There was no outlook written for Zach Calzada in 2025. Check out the latest news below for more on his current fantasy value.
Tough day in season opener
September 1, 2025
Calzada completed 10 of 23 passes for 85 yards and one interception during Saturday's 24-16 victory over Toledo. He also had 10 rushes for 14 yards with one touchdown.
ANALYSIS
Calzada struggled as he wasn't able to complete 50-percent of his passes and couldn't manage to get 100-yards of total offense on the day. However it would be just enough to get a win in the Wildcats season opener.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Calzada threw for 2,185 yards and 17 touchdowns last season, spending the majority of the campaign as the starter at Texas A&M. He had offseason surgery on his non-throwing shoulder, though is expected to be healed in time for fall camp. Calzada will contend with TJ Finley, who started the final three games last season for the Tigers, including the Birmingham Bowl. Finley completed just 54.7-percent of his passes in 2021, while Calzada was not much better, coming in at 56.1-percent while with the Aggies. Oregon transfer Robby Ashford will also end up in the mix, as well as Holden Geriner. Calzada has the experience and perhaps the competitive edge of the quartet, though he may not be the most physically talented quarterback in the group.
