Howard was forced into action on Saturday in the fourth quarter after Lunch Winfield got banged up "pretty bad" according to head coach Michael Desmoreaux. The Week starter did enough to help the Ragin' Cajuns survive and allow the to be Bowl eligible with that sixth win. In 2025, Haward threw for 155 yards and three interceptions. Winfield will presumably be the starter if health allows for it during the team's Bowl game.
