Sedrick Irvin

Running BackRB
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Ayomanor was essentially Stanford's offense in 2023, especially as the team failed to create any threat in a running game. The 6-foot-2 wide receiver finished the year with 62 receptions for 1,013 yards and six touchdowns, accounting for more than a third of the team's receiving yardage and more than half of the receiving touchdowns. While Ashton Daniels isn't a star under center, he proved the Cardinal's most serviceable option and likely retains the reins under center heading into 2024. Stanford didn't do much to bolster the rushing attack during the offseason, so Ayomanor and the passing offense may shoulder a heavy workload again in 2024, placing him firmly among the better wide receiver fantasy options. Big receptions save output
September 8, 2024
Irvin posted five rushes for 10 yards and gathered in all two targets for 92 yards during Saturday's 41-7 win over Cal Poly.
ANALYSIS
Irvin was completely bottled up on the ground, again tallying just five carries like he did in the opener. This time he only parlayed that into 10 rushing yards. It was his receiving chops, however, that bailed him out. His 92 yards receiving on two catches somewhat saved the tailback's statline. Still, Irvin hasn't done much on the ground despite being Stanford's lead back this season, and he can't be counted on to explode as a receiver week in and week out.
