2025 Fantasy Outlook
Wingo impressed as a true freshman in 2024, compiling 29 catches for 472 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 100 yards on five attempts. In three College Football Playoff games, Wingo caught five of his 13 targets for 78 yards. He's slated to be one of Arch Manning's top targets in Austin as part of a wide receiver room that lost its top two options in Matthew Golden and Isaiah Bond from the 2024 crop of wideouts. Wingo missed the tail end of spring camp with a hamstring injury, but his absence was deemed precautionary and he should be a full-go for fall camp and the regular season. Talent still abounds in this room with DeAndre Moore back and the additions of Emmett Mosely from Stanford and tight end Jack Endries from Cal, but Wingo seems poised to claim the top spot on the wideout depth chart in 2025. The Longhorns have produced two wide receivers with at least 750 receiving yards in back-to-back seasons. Read Past Outlooks

Stands out in recent scrimmage
Wingo (personal) stood out during the Longhorns' weekend scrimmage, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.
ANALYSIS
As the Longhorns prepare for their fall camp's last scrimmage Saturday, they will do so with Wingo having been a recent participant. The wide receiver's 2024 season, his freshman campaign, includes 29 receptions for 472 yards and two touchdowns. He also logged triple-digit rushing yardage. With both a season of experience under his belt and few UT wideouts as promising as Wingo is, it would not be surprising if the sophomore establishes himself in collegiate football's upper echelon during 2025.
