ANALYSIS
The senior tight end's 18-yard touchdown catch was only the second of the season. His receiving output against Virginia was his best total in 2024. The Irish have had some quality tight ends over the years and Evans was expected to have a big year. Evans could easily match his reception output of last season (22 this season, 29 in 2023), but his yardage is only 188 yards this season compared to 422 in 2023. The combination of Riley Leonard under center, transferring from Duke, and several receiver options have reduced his output.
