Declares for draft
January 11, 2024
Harrison announced Thursday via his personal Instagram account that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Ohio State to enter the 2024 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
Harrison is the presumptive No. 1 wide receiver off the board in the draft and could go as high as No. 1 overall, depending on how the final draft order shakes out. At the very least, Harrison is essentially a lock to be selected among the first five picks, barring something unforeseen emerging during the pre-draft process. Over his final two campaigns at Ohio State, the 6-foot-4, 205-pound Harrison cleared 1,200 receiving yards in both seasons and accounted for 29 total touchdowns. He's got all the tools to be a star at the professional level, and it doesn't hurt either that he's the son of a Hall of Fame receiver.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
Harrison is one of the most hyped-up players in the country entering this season, and for good reason. The Buckeye looks like the next great pass-catcher off the assembly line that is Brian Harline’s wide receiver room. In his first year as a full-time starter, Harrison posted 77 catches, 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns. As C.J. Stroud’s favorite target, the receiver backed up all of the hype that was generated after his three touchdown showing in the Rose Bowl following the 2021 season. Harrison is a specimen of a wide receiver, with unbelievable hands and incredible body control. He’s also an elite underneath separator, which helps him rack up receptions against hapless cornerbacks. Ohio State will be breaking in a new starting quarterback, likely Kyle McCord, but it’s unwise to bet against Ryan Day and the prolific offenses he’s fielded in his tenure as head coach in Columbus. Harrison is the best receiver on what figures to be one of the best offenses in the country. The Biletnikoff, Heisman and a top-five NFL draft selection are all on the table for the wideout.
Harrison has a larger frame than his dad, but he sports a similar ability to get himself open via his route-running abilities. Harrison began to make his own mark last season, capped off by a three-touchdown contest against Utah in the Rose Bowl. With Chris Olave and Garrett Williams headed for the NFL, Harrison may be the primary candidates to fill a starting void behind Jaxson Smith-Njigba. As part of a lethal Buckeyes offense that returns C.J. Stroud at quarterback, who produced 4,435 yrds and 44 passing touchdowns last season, Harrison could have a big season in store.
