2024 Receiving Projections
Commands season-high eight targets
Arnold caught 4 of 8 targets for 58 yards during Friday's 23-20 loss versus UNLV.
ANALYSIS
Arnold received a season-high eight targets and was Kansas' most targeted receiver. That's not saying a lot though as QB Jalon Daniels has struggled mightily to begin the season. The signal caller has six interceptions, and Kansas has lost each of their last two games. Kansas has a great run-game and defense, so that could mean they lean into their strengths more as the season progresses which would mean less work for Arnold. Be cautious with the number one receiver as Kansas plays at West Virginia next week.

Nick Grays and Jeff Edgerton offer up their sleepers and busts among Big 12 fantasy players. It's no surprise Ollie Gordon hogs the conference's 2024 headlines after being the epitome of a workhorse last year.
Nick Grays takes a look at some players flying under the radar in the Big 12 heading into 2024. He expects Cameron Rising will bounce back after a lost 2023 season and his athleticism may be a bit overlooked.
Jeff Edgerton breaks down Tuesday's three-game DFS slate, where he's intrigued by a pair of Jayhawks that includes Devin Neal, who will be squaring off against a lackluster UNLV run defense.
Jeff Edgerton takes a look at Friday's two-game slate and believes Luke Altmyer is the safest play under center as a sure bet to start in a game featuring a relatively high total.
2023 Fantasy Outlook
It was quietly a great season for Arnold in 2022 as he racked up three 100-yard receiving performances in his last seven games. He also posted 10.53 yards per target which ranked sixth in the conference among receivers with at least 20 catches on the year. Moreover, Arnold will benefit from the return of quarterback Jalon Daniels who projects to be one of the best signal callers in the conference. The Jayhawks return 10 offensive starters and should be one of the best units in the Big 12. Arnold and Luke Grimm will be the top receiver which nicely compliments the power-duo at running back in Devin Neal and Daniel Hishaw. Kansas averaged 35.6 points and 438.6 yards per game a year ago, so expect much of the same which means a lot of fantasy production.
