Jackson announced Friday that he is declaring for the 2018 NFL Draft.

ANALYSIS
While Jackson didn't exactly finish his college career on a high note, throwing four interceptions in a loss to Mississippi State, he'll still do as most expected after back-to-back Heisman-worthy seasons and turn pro. In his final season, Jackson passed for 3,660 yards, rushed for 1,601 more and scored a total of 45 touchdowns.

Last year's Heisman Trophy winner who averaged more than 40 fantasy points per game returns for what could be his final collegiate season. It will be tough for Jackson to match his 51 total touchdowns from last year, but bet against his cannon arm and blazing speed at your own risk. He won't sneak up on opponents this season either, but Jackson's immense talent outweighs most of what defensive coordinators can scheme to stop him. The dual-threat weapon is the consensus top pick in almost any format with elite passing and rushing numbers.

It wasn't always pretty for Jackson in 2015, as his passing effectiveness was hit-or-miss in an incoherent QB rotation, but toward the end of the year he showed legitimate Heisman upside as a devastating rushing threat. Even if his passing boxscore of 1,840 yards (7.4 YPA), 12 touchdowns and eight interceptions didn't do much for fantasy owners, Jackson's 960 yards (5.9 YPC) and 11 touchdowns on the ground demonstrated top-tier fantasy upside. Jackson rushed for 100 yards five times last year, including a 226-yard, two-TD rushing day in a bowl victory over Texas A&M.
