Bolts for draft
Granson accepted his invitation to the Senior Bowl and declared for the 2021 NFL Draft on Wednesday, Billy Embody of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Granson could have spent another season at SMU since the NCAA granted every player an extra year of eligibility, but he'll participate in the Senior Bowl ahead of his professional career. Granson was quite productive in college, and he brought in 35 of his 55 targets for 536 yards and five touchdowns in 2020. He should be one of the top tight ends in the NFL Draft.

2020 Fantasy Outlook
Granson had one of the better finishing flourishes of any tight end in the nation last year. The 6-foot-3, 235-pound mismatch erupted for 492 yards and eight touchdowns on 45 targets over his final seven games. Reggie Roberson’s injury certainly helped open up targets for Granson to excel, and even though Roberson is back, James Proche leaves a significant target share up for grabs. SMU’s scheme will likely try to get a second receiver going opposite Roberson, but Granson is too talented not to be a staple for the Mustangs, especially in the red zone. Look for Granson to be among the most involved tight ends in the country in 2020.
