2024 Receiving Projections
Best performance yet
Whyle caught seven passes for 70 yards in Saturday's 23-3 win at Temple.
ANALYSIS
Whyle set new season bests in receptions (seven) and yards (70) Saturday. Whyle had more receptions and yards Saturday than the past three games combined. While the senior tight end has caught at least one pass in every game this season, his production is a bit up and down. His production versus the Owls seems to be his ceiling, and his floor is quite low. Whyle faces a tough matchup in next Saturday's regular season finale versus Tulane, as the Green Wave allow less than 200 yards per game.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Whyle put together another good year in 2021 as an integral part of the Bearcats’ offense. The big-bodied tight end logged at least one target in every game as one of the go-to options for Desmond Ridder. Playing in every game, Whyle totalled 26 catches for 332 yards and six touchdowns. Heading into 2022, Cincinnati loses their top quarterback, wide receiver and running back, so the experience of the senior Whyle should be heavily relied upon. He’ll likely be catching passes from Ben Bryant, who already has three years of experience in the Bearcats’ program. Cincinnati’s offense figures to take a step back after a dream season in 2021, but Whyle will be an alpha on this offense and should solidify himself as an NFL-caliber prospect.
